Three-Legged Charity Walk for Children in Need

Christian, from our Horncastle office, joined BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Scott Dalton on his mission to walk three-legged, through Boston on Tuesday (4th November).

Christian joined Scott at the Geoff Moulder Leisure Centre and walked through to St Nicholas' Primary School; as part of the station's contribution to the national effort of 1000 miles in aid of the charity.

Charity Contributions Encouraged for Lincoln Chemotherapy Unit Fundraiser

We were very pleased to present a cheque to Rose Marshall last week.

After bravely fighting her own battle with cancer, Rose has been raising money for an air conditioning unit to be installed in the treatment room at Lincoln Hospital Chemotherapy Ward. The room can become uncomfortably hot very quickly and many of the drugs used are best kept in a cold environment.

This takes Rose to her goal £5,000; excess funds raised will go towards the ongoing love and care of the garden which patients can view from the waiting room.
